I am acutally quite excited about this semester. I will admit that it is going to be considerably harder than last semester, though I am ready for it.  This semester I am taking Sci 1101 (science), Psyc 2105 (psychology), Math 2207 (statistics), Musi 1107 (music), and Engl 1102 (english).

So I’m in my psych class and there is around 50 or so of us in there; Prof asks us how many of us blog. Obviously I raised my hand. Turns out that I was the only one in there that blogged. Personally, this shocked me. Well she walked over to me and started asking me questions about it like who I used and what I blog about usually. Now, normally when someone is picking me out in crowd of my peers I freak out because I will go ahead and let you know: I’m pretty insecure. And when I mean “pretty” I actually mean “severely”.  But this woman reminded me so much of a lady I knew (obviously I still know her, I just haven’t seen or talked to her in years) in south carolina that I couldn’t tear away from our coversation. I mean everything about her scream this other woman. Her voice (tone and accent), her appearance, her mannerisms.

So anyway, she went on to tell me that she has thought of maybe having her students blog instead of essays and I told her what a great idea except I was the only person in the entire room of fifty that blogged. She unfortunately steered away from that concept and before leaving to get back to her desk, she asked me, “Do you ‘twit’ too?” It took all of my not to explode with laughter because I immediately thought of myself twitching and doing random short dance moves without music (please dont ask my why, this is just the way my mind works.)

I will also say that not one of my profs is boring, but they are ALL unusual yet interesting. It’s going to be a good semester.
