Last night some of the “freedom crew”, if you will, got together and hung out. We went to Matt’s dorm and played Boxers or Briefs. This involves no stripping which I soon found out after telling them I refused to remove my clothes if I lose. Eric made some killer wings and Callie and myself chipped in to help make the FunFetti Cake. IT WAS AWESOME. My new favorite kind of cake = funfetti cake.

 Well, we finished the game and went home to get some sleep before we all had to get up a few hours later to set up church. This morning I did not have to work in nursery and it was great! I missed my kids though in 2-4’s. I’ve bonded with them and it was weird not being in there with them.

Music ROCKED. We are currently doing the “Face the Music” series and this morning happened to be Apologize by OneRepublic. Seriously- our band is friggin awesome. Thats all I will say. Don’t believe me? Come see it and I won’t even laugh at how you are wrong because the humility will be enough.

Oh and those of you who don’t tear down with us: You miss a concert from those of us who fold drapes.

Tonight at church we had this thing called Overflow and Freedom was trusting GOD in letting them recieve $15,000. Now, I don’t know about you but that is a lot of money and might I say for the record I was a bit skeptical on how much of that we were actually going to get. We are a small church still that hasn’t even launched yet, let’s be honest.

WOW. I cannot tell you how much of an idiot I was for not trusting GOD completely for getting us this money. I gave as much as I possibly could without overdrawing and killing myself finacially. It literally hurt me to write that check but I have full confidence in GOD that he will return every cent to me weather it be in cash or not. I trust him. 

Anyways, back to if we got $15,000 or not………………no we did not…..

WE GOT OVER $20,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I seriously STILL can’t believe how incredible GOD is. He ceases to amaze me and I love him for it. I love having a GOD that will not only provide, but give us an overflow of what we need. (Don’t you like how I snuck that in there?) 

PRAISE THE LORD FOR PEOPLE WHO AREN’T AFRAID TO GIVE WHAT GOD TELLS THEM TO!
