the good, the bad, and the what just happened?

{September 22, 2008}   Campus Creepers.

There are a few campus creepers here at KSU that I have noticed. (You know what I mean by creeper…a suspicious looking character that does suspicous and creepy things.)

One of them I just saw climb a tree. But this is not what made me classify him as a creeper, even though you don’t see a tree climber everyday at college. It was where he climbed this tree and what he did once he got up there……..He climbed this tree, not in a secluded area, but right where everyone walks in the middle of about 4 pathways. Then, once he got into the tree and “settled in”, he started watching someone. A girl. And the reason I know it was this one girl is because she was right in front of me and once she left, he got down and went on his way. WOW.

I wonder if he thinks he was invisible up in this tree? huh…interesting people.

I will continue to watch people (one of my favorite hobbies) and keep you informed of these Campus Creepers.

{September 5, 2008}   Better.

When AAA got to my car yesterday, he unlocked my door and tried to start my engine but because my key has a special computer chip it wouldn’t start. He went back to his van and I started looking through my car and my keys were under my jacket in the front seat. I felt like a retard.

Then my project group was really supportive of me being able to leave and they would take care of the project once I gave them my part of it. :)

I’m in South Carolina now and its going pretty good so far. All the family is here and it’s extremely sad just yet. We always have a way of making each other smile when we are all together.

tomorrow is the funeral though.

I fear that will be a different story all together.

{September 3, 2008}   Worst Days of My LIfe

Poppy (my dad’s father) passed away yesterday.

I lost my car keys today on campus.

AAA said it would cost and EXTRA $125 to get a new one because mine has a computer chip in it and they have to contact my dealer.

I can’t help my group get our presentation together because of all this crap i’m going through. So now I feel like they cant depend on me.

I really want this week to end already.

{August 30, 2008}   Good Tips.

Tonight was a good night at work. I made some pretty good tips throughout the night but then my last table was pretty interesting.

I was sat with them at about 9:30. We close at ten. No biggie, except there was 7 of them and they were there until 10:45. :( not cool.

I gave them their change and was expecting about a four dollar tip even though their check was $75. The lady who paid left me a ten dollar bill. That excited me very much. I sat down at the table to clean it up and talk to maddi and then one of the guys came out of the restroom and put down another ten dollar bill :D . was so happy! So I made about 75 dollars tonight. I need this very much cuz i’m getting poor fast.

Hopefully this whole weekend is like that.

{August 19, 2008}   Cartilage Piercing=OUCH

Ouch. No other word to describe this experience really. And that is what I kept repeating as she slowly worked the sharp object into my ear. This isn’t like the guns they use when they pierce the earlobe (weird word of the day: EARLOBE) Yes this hurt very much indeed. You know the feeling you get when there is something in your skin that should not be there like a tack or needle? And the relief of having it out of your skin? Yeah, no relief here. Just pain.

But I wont like it looks SO cute! Totally worth it. I have been wanting this for a long time. Please pray it will not get infected. I have seen a girl where once it got infected and she had to have puss (gross word of the day: PUSS) squeezed out of the hole for about 3 months and four times a day. Yucky.

Well I’m off to work on my time management skills. I’m not so great at this I’ve learned and I need to be in order to not fail any of my classes.

{August 17, 2008}   Interesting First Day

Well friday was my first day of class and luckily I only have one friday class: Human Communications. My prof. is pretty cool and she looks like she just stepped out of the 80’s. You know; the big hair with the teased bangs and really ugly, brightly colored suit. I’m pretty sure it was fuschia. WOW.

Prof. Philips gave us our syllubus (along with typical first day run-throughs) and then we watched a movie called “To Sir, With Love”. It was actually not too bad; it held my attention, but then again I have this weird thing for older movies…this was set around the 60’s.  Now we have to write a reflective essay on it. No more high school where you sleep through the movie with nothing to do after it. Everything I do now will have the following phrase: “Now write a paper on it.” Fabulous.

Well after that I went to work like any other friday night. Maddi, Evelin, Carlos and myself went to the waffle house next to Folk’s where I work afterwards and hung out for a while. Well, Maddi wasn’t feeling well so I told her to go home and I would take Evelin home. So she left and we got into Carlos’ borrowed car so he can drive us back to Folk’s to get my car. The car refused to start. As we were praying for it to start…we noticed that where the stereo should be was empty. Great; he left his WINDOWS OPEN.

Awesome, so we are sitting there talking waiting for the car to cool down (says carlos) and we see two police cars outside of folk’s and they were just walking around. Then they disappear to the other side of the building where my car was at that point still sitting. Crap. I imagined my windows knocked out and MY stereo missing! So we walk over (on account of his car still is not working for us) and the two police cars are parked directly behind my car and one of the police has his flashlight shining in my car. (At this point I’m PRAISING GOD that I don’t do drugs, drink, ect. because this is when it all comes back to bite ya in the butt.)

I walk up to him and inform him that this is my car. He proceeded to ask me if I like my car and if I like the things in it…Yeah, I guess I do enjoy being to get to point A to point B without the constant “Hey can you give me a ride”. Thanks for asking Po Po. He said, “Come here, I want to show you something.” Now as he led me to my lovely car I had nightmarish visions of my front windshield being completely gone and randoms things missing. He just pointed to my GPS and said, “If you like that you should probably take it down because there have been reportings of…” and he just kinda went off on this tangent that I somewhat paid attention to. After I realized that he neither was giving me a ticket nor telling me my car had been jacked up I figured what he was “informing” me was not so important.  I thanked him of course for the words of wisdom and we all went on our way. Carlos’ car ended up starting and he didn’t seem to mind that he was returning the borrowed car with missing pieces…

That was my first day of college and it was pretty exciting. I cant wait to see what happens when I go 5 days in a row.

{August 15, 2008}   College.

So…I start college in the morning.

Nervous?  Yes.

Excited?  Yes.

But I honestly just want to jump to tomorrow at like 2pm so I can know how it goes without actually being there so i know that college isn’t totally horrible for me.

Well…Here goes…

{August 6, 2008}   Can’t Move

Well I worked out yesterday with my trainer and we did many things I never knew I could physically do.

We rotated between doing push ups, squat thrusts, and lunges. This isn’t including the machines we worked on after all that.

I have never been so scared to drop something today in fear that I might have to bend down and pick it up. Well, actually I wouldn’t pick it up considering that I can’t make any big or sudden  movements on account of tears stream down my face because of the pain I consequently would be in.

Well the fourth book Breaking Dawn has finally come and I can’t read it fast enough. So I’m off until I have read the last page.

I was informed last night at work that they were short handed for this morning and needed me and my sister to work…Obviously I said “well I have church in the morning so… i’m gonna have to say no thanks…”

Then they told me that even though they were “asking” me, I basically didnt have a choice. They were “nice” enough to let me off the night shift though. I made $27.00 which wasn’t worth the gas to get there. So I have missed an awesome sunday from freedom church to work…and not make any money for that matter. Not a good day today.

Although I have been able to spend time w/ my mom this afternoon which I am not able to do as often anymore so that was on the plus side.

This weekend I am fortunate enough to have a friend coming into town from tennessee and I’m so excited! I have not seen him for a few months so I cannot wait to spend some time with him.

{August 2, 2008}   Sore Muscles.

I had my second meeting with my trainer today and I am so sore! We seemed to just be working on our arms, by lifting things and doing most of the lifting with our arms but I got to work this afternoon and almost dropped my first tray trying to take it out because my entire body hurt! I was like what the heck did this guy secretly do to me? Well I have two days to recover then monday its another day at American Bodyworks.

Also, an exciting event has taken place :) Breaking Dawn the fourth book of the Twilight Series by Stephanie Meyer has fianally come out. I have it being delivered as we speak (well as you read this). I am so excited I can barely contain it.
